MTC’s Winter Benefit

Manhattan Theatre Club’s Winter Benefit: An Intimate Night will be held on Monday, January 24, 2011 at The Plaza, New York’s Premiere Landmark. Unlike any other evening in the city, MTC’s An Intimate Night is a dazzling musical event that brings you up close to Broadway’s most glittering stars for an exclusive and original, one-night only cabaret. The festivities will begin at 7pm and include cocktails, dinner and the show. The event is co-chaired by MTC Board member Fiona Kirk and Christine Daley.

Proceeds from the Winter Benefit will support MTC’s mission:

• to produce a season of innovative work with a series of productions as broad and diverse as New York itself;
  
• to encourage significant new work by creating an environment in which writers and theatre artists are supported by the finest professionals producing theatre today;
  
• to nurture new talent in playwriting, musical composition, directing, acting and design; and
  
• to reach out to young audiences with innovative programs in education and maintain a commitment to cultivating the next generation of theatre professionals.
