Easy Subscriber-Only Ticket Exchange

Subscribers can exchange tickets up to 2 business days in advance of scheduled performance, based on availability.

Please Note: Preview subscribers attend and can exchange tickets for performances during the designated preview period only, which is the first three weeks of each run.
By Mail: enclose the following:

  • a ticket exchange form, indicating first, second and third choices
  • the tickets you wish to exchange
  • a self-addressed stamped envelope
  • an evening and day telephone number

Mail your exchange at least 5 business days prior to your performance date, to:

You must also return the unused tickets to MTC. You may either mail them to us at the above address, or fax a copy of the torn tickets to (212) 445-SFAX (7329). (Please do not tear tickets on perforation.)

In Person:

Bring your tickets to the Subscriber Services Department at MTC’s Administrative Offices at 311 West 43rd Street (4th Floor) between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).

You must do this at least 2 business days prior to your scheduled performance date.

If, for whatever reasons, you just can’t make it to a certain production, or you have a last minute emergency, you can donate your tickets to Manhattan Theatre Club as a tax-deductible contribution.

Subscriber Ticket Turn-In Phone Line

If time is limited, subscribers can use our newly installed Ticket Turn-In Phone Line. While we cannot accommodate exchanges from Friday evening at 8:00 pm until Monday afternoon at 12:00 pm, subscribers who will be unable to use their tickets over the weekend can call (212) 247-0430 x242 for performances at NY City Center and leave a message for the MTC Company Representative, receiving a tax credit in exchange. For the Biltmore Theatre, please call (212) 399-3000 x5403.
Please Note: No exchange tickets can be issued under this option.

Priority Notice of Additional MTC Offerings

As subscribers, you will be on the inside track to gaining access or subscribing to an array of other exciting MTC offerings, including Play Readings, Gala Evenings, and special Education Matinees. Saturday Afternoon Post-Performance Discussions

At the Biltmore Theatre and at NY City Center Stage I, following the Saturday matinee performances, there is always a post-performance discussion with actors, directors, dramaturgs, or panelists offering insight and perspective on the current production. Subscribers are invited to join these discussions, whether this is your assigned performance or not! If this is not your slated performance, simply call the Subscriber Services Hotline or check the Web Site for running time of the show, and show up as the curtain comes down for some thought-provoking exchanges between our audience and our guests.
