Bring one of Broadway’s most acclaimed productions into your classroom for free.
Two weeks only: November 2–13, 2026.

High school classrooms around the world are invited to experience Jocelyn Bioh’s School Girls; Or, The African Mean Girls Play, currently running on Broadway.

Give your students the opportunity to experience exceptional professional theatre, develop their own interpretations, and discover how their perspectives compare with those of young people in communities beyond their own.

About the play: Becoming Miss Ghana 1986 would mean fame, fortune, and prosperity. At least, that’s what Paulina—the queen bee of Aburi Girls Boarding School—believes. When the pageant recruiter comes to school, Paulina and her crew pull out all the stops. But to their surprise, a new transfer student from America kicks the competition into a higher, far more personal gear. Deeply relevant to young people, the play explores beauty, belonging, and the forces that shape how we view ourselves and treat one another. The running time is approximately 85 minutes with no intermission.
